WPL Attorney Anthony Pires Presents at Local Government Day, Associate Leadership Collier 2022

NAPLES, Fla. (March 22, 2022) — Government Relations attorney, Anthony P. Pires, Jr. of Woodward, Pires & Lombardo, P.A. (WPL) presented the Local Government Day segment to the 2022 Class of Associate Leadership Collier of the Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce.

Associate Leadership Collier is a program specifically designed for emerging leaders and professionals in Collier County of ages 21-40. The program is run by the Chamber, where Woodward, Pires & Lombardo, P.A. is a member. Through hands-on experiences and exclusive behind-the-scenes sessions, participants explore local government, education, economic development, the arts, and more. Class members will also hear from experienced area leaders who deal with our community’s biggest opportunities and challenges. With the benefit of new perspectives and connections, participants are prepared to take their places as our community’s next generation of community leaders.

He speaks about being a part of this program and what it means to connect with like-minded leaders.

“It’s an honor to speak in front of all of these outstanding individuals who will, no doubt, shape our future here in Southwest Florida and beyond. I am looking forward to learning about the wonderful accomplishments from these participants,” he says.

WPL attorney  Zachary W. Lombardo is a recent graduate of Associate Leadership Collier and currently serves as a Session Chair for Class of 2022, and partners Craig R. Woodward and J. Christopher Lombardo are previous graduates of Leadership Collier.

Anthony (Tony) P. Pires, Jr. is a partner at Woodward, Pires & Lombardo, P.A. in the Naples office. He serves clients throughout Collier and Lee Counties in Local Government Law, Municipal Law, Land Use and Zoning Law and Administrative Law. Tony has been a Board Certified Specialist (B.C.S.) in City, County & Local Government Law by The Florida Bar since 1998. Previously, Tony was Assistant County Attorney and Assistant State Attorney, of the Twentieth Judicial Circuit of Florida.
