Lindsay B. Cohen Joins WPL as Of Counsel
Lindsay B. Cohen joins WPL as Of Counsel, where she focuses her practice primarily on civil and commercial litigation, including construction defect, personal injury, and breach of contract matters. She brings significant experience handling complex civil litigation at both the trial and appellate levels.
Prior to joining WPL, Lindsay was a partner at a large insurance defense firm, where her practice involved complex construction defect and personal injury litigation. She also previously served as counsel representing large financial institutions in contested foreclosure and eviction matters.
A Naples native, Lindsay earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Telecommunications from the University of Florida in 1999 and her Juris Doctor from Emory University School of Law in 2005. She is admitted to practice in Florida and before the U.S. District Courts for the Middle and Southern Districts of Florida.
Derek J. Di Crescienzo Joins WPL as an Associate Attorney
Derek J. Di Crescienzo passed the Florida Bar Examination and joins WPL as an Associate Attorney, where his practice focuses on family law and civil litigation.
Originally from New Jersey, Derek earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Montclair State University. Before pursuing his legal career, he worked as a broker for a hard money lending company, gaining experience in real estate finance, commercial transactions, and financial matters.
Derek earned his Juris Doctor from Ave Maria School of Law in Naples, Florida. He began his career with WPL as an intern in October 2025 and continued working with the firm throughout law school.
Rachel C. Lane Joins WPL as an Associate Attorney
Rachel C. Lane passed the Florida Bar Examination and joins WPL’s Naples office as an Associate Attorney, where her practice focuses on land use, local government and business law.
Rachel earned her Bachelor of Science in Criminology & Criminal Justice, magna cum laude, with a minor in Business Administration from the University of Tampa in 2023. She earned her Juris Doctor from Wake Forest University School of Law in 2026.
During law school, Rachel served as a student attorney in the Medical Legal Partnership Clinic and interned at the Second District Court of Appeal for the Honorable Judge Stevan T. Northcutt. She also served as an Online Editor for the Journal of Law & Policy, worked as a Project Coordinator for Volunteer Income Tax Assistance, and was inducted into the Pro Bono Honor Society.
