Woodward, Pires & Lombardo, P.A. Hosts Florida State University College of Law Scholarship Event

NAPLES, Fla. (Dec. 5, 2018) – Southwest Florida law firm Woodward, Pires & Lombardo, P.A. announces that the Firm hosted a student scholarship campaign event for the Florida State University’s College of Law on December 4th. The Firm has offices in Naples and on Marco Island and serves its clients in Family Law, Litigation, Business Law, Government Relations and Community Association Law.

The Pave the Way campaign is a means to aid in recruiting the best and brightest minds for FSU’s Law program. The campaign’s goal is to gain access to more financial assistance, by way of scholarships, for the many talented minds that otherwise couldn’t attend the prestigious university. By contributing to the Pave the Way campaign, it helps to reduce the burden of debt for these students, thus opening new doors for them in their careers. The FSU community is looking to raise $2 million in scholarships for the coming year.

The Southwest Florida Alumni Reception was held at the Firm’s Naples office on Tuesday, December 4th, and featured a video presentation and information about the Pave the Way program and how to contribute. Chris Lombardo, Partner with Woodward, Pires & Lombardo, P.A. (www.wpl-legal.com) and FSU Alum, speaks about the program and how it is affecting prospective students.

“Having a passion for law and having the means to pursue it do not always line up perfectly. Through this scholarship program, we seek to grant access to those who are ready to work hard and make a difference in the practice of law,” he explains.
