Christopher Lombardo Auctioneers at Rookery Bay Batfish Bash Fundraiser

Batfish bash image Naples, Florida, April 7th, 2016 — Christopher Lombardo of the law firm Woodward, Pires & Lombardo, P.A. served as auctioneer at the annual Batfish Bash at Rookery Bay, held on Saturday, March 19th, benefiting the southwest Florida environment and the Rookery Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve.

Rookery Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve is one of the few remaining untouched mangrove estuaries in North America. Managed by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, Rookery Bay hosts 110,000 acres of mangrove forest. The Annual Batfish Bash for the Bay raises the funds needed to support research and education efforts that are underway at the Rookery Bay facility.
