CITY OF EVERGLADES CITY, Fla. (Oct. 18, 2023) — Woodward, Pires & Lombardo, P.A. proudly announces that associate attorney Zachary W. Lombardo was appointed as the City Attorney for the City of Everglades City, Florida, at the City Council meeting on Tuesday, October 4, 2023. Lombardo follows his father’s legacy, partner J. Christopher Lombardo, Esq., who was also the City Attorney from 1985 to 2005 and again from 2017 through 2023.
At the inception of Collier County 100 years ago in 1923, the City of Everglades City, 35 minutes from downtown Naples, was the county seat. It is currently best known for its stone crab industry and fishing. It gives its visitors a glimpse into Southwest Florida’s past with eco-tours and museums depicting its rich history. For over 50 years, Woodward, Pires & Lombardo, P.A. has provided legal services to special districts, local governments, constitutional officers, municipalities, individuals, families, businesses and associations with an array of legal services.

Lombardo was born and raised in Naples, Florida, received his undergraduate from Loyola University New Orleans, magna cum laude, and law degree from Florida State University College of Law, cum laude, in 2015. He is the immediate past president of the Young Lawyers Section of the Collier County Bar Association, on the Executive Council of the Environmental and Land Use Section of The Florida Bar, and a graduate of Associate Leadership Collier, Class of 2021.
