FORT MYERS, Fla. (Jan. 2, 2024) Woodward, Pires & Lombardo, P.A. is pleased to announce that local government attorney Zachary (“Zach”) Lombardo has been appointed 2024 Chair, Community Service and Pro Bono of the Lee County Bar Association (LCBA) Young Lawyers Division (YLD). His responsibilities will include overseeing and executing community service and pro bono events approved by the LCBA YLD board of directors. Zach’s creativity, desire to help others, and overall passion for the legal profession and life make him the perfect person for this vital role on the board.
Located in the 20th Judicial Circuit, Florida, the Lee County Bar Association Young Lawyers Division hosts a variety of events, including monthly luncheons, socials, CLE’s, networking events, and pro bono opportunities. They have several major annual events, including Holidays in July, partnered with the Children’s Network of Southwest Florida, a yearly holiday party, and more.
Zach Lombardo is a government relations attorney at Woodward, Pires & Lombardo, P.A. He is a Board Certified Specialist in City, County and Local Government Law by The Florida Bar. Zach was recently appointed City Attorney for the City of Everglades City.
Zach’s primary focus is helping public and private clients in various land use and local government matters. Additionally, he is an experienced litigator in state and federal court, both at a trial court level and on appeal. In Zach’s Florida business law matters and contract drafting, he focuses on practical solutions for clients.
Active in the community, Zach is a lifelong environmentalist and an Eagle Scout. He is committed to doing what he can to improve the quality of the environment in the Western Everglades. A Southwest Florida native, he enjoys canoeing the local waterways with his wife and playing the harmonica.
