Naples, Florida, October 31st, 2018—Chris Lombardo, a Partner with local law firm, Woodward, Pires & Lombardo, P.A. (www.wpl-legal.com) announces that he is running for re-election for Fire Commissioner of the North Naples Fire Department. Lombardo last ran for office in 2016.
A civil trial attorney for more than 30 years, Lombardo is an avid supporter of the Naples community. He is involved in several clubs and associations in the area such as Boy Scouts of America and Statewide Order of the Arrow where he has served as the District Chairman of Scouting for Collier County. Lombardo has also auctioneered for many local organizations, including the North Naples Rotary, the American Heart Association, Community School of Naples and the Golisano Children’s Museum, and has helped raise over $4,000,000 for local charities.
Lombardo has served on the North Naples Fire Control and Rescue District’s Board of Fire Commissioners from 1998 to the present, where he is currently Chairman. He brings years of experience to the District. He faces two opponents during this re-election for North Collier’s Seat 4, but his historic knowledge of the District gives him an advantage.
“I look forward to seeing the outcomes of this election as well as being able to continue to apply my skills to benefit the local community,” says Lombardo.
Lombardo has been instrumental in reducing health insurance costs, negotiating donations of needed equipment, and recently developing a PTSD treatment program for first responders.
Update 2021: The North Naples Fire Department is now known as North Collier Fire & Rescue District.
